Qatar Cabin Crew Open day

Qatar Cabin Crew open days often start early in the morning, usually around 9 am.

Candidates queue in a line, awaiting their turn to hand in their resume and photos. Each Qatar cabin crew applicant will go to the recruiters and hand in their resume and photos. The Qatar cabin crew recruiters will ask each candidate several initial questions to assess culture fitness and suitability for the Qatar cabin crew role.

Some questions you may get include:

  • What do you do at the moment?

  • Why do you want to be a cabin crew?

  • Why Qatar?

This is to break the ice and to assess the applicant’s confidence level and the ability to communicate verbally in good English without obvious grammatical errors. Your body language is also assessed, examples such as kind, approachable and helpful.

Then comes the elimination round. The recruiters will make a decision about who stays and who goes.

The open day now turns into the assessment day.

Assessment day

The assessment day starts with an English Test. It is a basic multiple choice test.

After the English test there is another round of elimination.

Next round, we have the reach, scar, tattoo and mark test. Recruiters will ask you to do the reach test. Girls will do the reach test without shoes and standing on tip toes. Guys have to perform this test with shoes on and they are not allowed on tip toes.

Then they will ask you about scars, tattoos and marks. Anyone that have tattoos will be rejected. If people have significant scars, birthmarks or moles they will also be rejected.

They will ask a few more random questions to each applicant, and another round of elmination.
