Tough teamwork interview questions
At Emirates or Qatar, the ability to work well with others is a critical skill for their international cabin crew team. Teamwork questions are popular with recruiters as they reveal a lot about you! They will often ask behavioural questions on teamwork.
Teamwork questions are designed to establish if you are able to interact and work with others in a productive, positive and professional manner. The recruiters want to establish if you are likely to be a difficult person to deal with or that you may cause personality conflicts. They also want to know if you can deal with different personalities in the team. You will need to show that you are able to communicate effectively, mediate, collaborate and even lead at times. There is no right or wrong answer to teamwork questions but you truly need to demonstrate that you are a team player.
Go to the interview with several examples based on your past work experience that demonstrate the above. For those of you with limited professional experience e.g. just left school or univeristy, give examples of university life or your teamwork experience gained through voluntary work or extra outside activities.

How often did you interact with other team members.

Teamwork is an absolute essential skill that all Cabin Crew need to have. Without it Emirates or Qatar cabin crew cannot work efficiently onboard the aircraft on a day to day basis or provide the best service without the team’s support. In a worst case scenario, if any emergency situations occur onboard and there is no teamwork then the outcome is inevitable, no matter how well trained or a professional crew member you are.
